Our mission

Make the support behind news reporting visible.

Veritas Shield helps users see what articles and videos claim, return to the original words and moments, and inspect where evidence is present or missing. The article score measures visible sourcing, attribution, framing, and presentation. Video assessments describe captured source trails and evidence relationships. Neither certifies that every statement is true.

Map claims to evidence

Veritas preserves the analyzed article, identifies major claims, connects visible sources and passages, and withholds the score when it cannot read enough of the page.

Review the result

Start with the score and biggest evidence gaps. Open Reader for exact passages, compare two articles, or use Evidence Atlas for the complete claim-to-source map.

Start with a video

Paste a public video link or upload a permitted copy. Account availability and source access are checked before processing; English clips up to ten minutes are supported.

Keep words with moments

Read captured speech and sampled on-screen text alongside the video. Original wording stays available when AI helps interpret spelling or context; incomplete capture remains visible.

Inspect claims and evidence

Open the transcript, seek to a claim, or explore Evidence Atlas. Source trails and outside-evidence checks answer separate questions, so a citation never automatically proves a claim.
